Corporate Social Responsibility and Stakeholder Engagement Workshop

MCA – ‘A Class Apart’

MCA CROWNS MR AND MISS MCA BT CAMPUS

Barely the same night of 28th April 2016, when the nation was crowning Miss Malawi, the similar atmosphere engulfed the campus of Malawi College of Accountancy when Mr and Miss MCA were crowned. An event organized under the auspices of PSI in conjunction with MCA former students union saw, Blessings Beya age 21 and Martha Magombo age 21 being crowned as Mr and Miss MCA 2017 respectively.

“I feel honoured and extremely confident about myself, the whole event brought out a self-esteem that I never thought I had,” said Martha in an interview. When asked what she has instore for her fellow students she said that “Now that I feel confident about myself I intend to encourage, uplift and motivate others the same way the event did for me.”
When asked to comment on his part Blessings Beya said “I feel excited and motivated”
The two winners went away with Itel smart phones. The event was spiced up with musical performances by Theo Thomson, Tuno and Post Negative.
